The Spa at No. 1 York offers bespoke therapies with tailored massages and personalised facials to bring deep-sigh relaxation in our historic treatment rooms.
Our skilled Therapists await the chance to listen to your needs and tailor your bespoke treatment experience. We use organic, vegan and sustainably sourced oils and essences to create the ultimate eco-luxury experience.
To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book a treatment in advance. Group bookings are available on request.
And please also be aware that we employ both female and male massage therapists at The Spa.
These treatments are for those who like to enjoy their spa time together. Including our Signature Herbal Healer treatment inspired by locally grown Yorkshire lavender. This treatment-for-two includes a lavender body scrub, blissful ‘lomi-lomi’ style massage, and nourishing facial.
We use the word rituals to describe experiences that combine treatments to bring maximum benefit. We have something for everyone from our luxurious top-to-toe treatment to our mood-boosting made-for-men ritual, plus a specially designed treatment for mums-to-be.

If the beach right at your doorstep and opening the doors to a private balcony with front row sea views sounds like your beach dream come true, you’ll want to be making yourself comfortable in of these rooms. These rooms have a separate bath and shower and a super-king size bed. This is one for those who not only want a room with a view but want to be part of it.
