Afternoon tea at No. 1 York combines savoury and sweet treats. Served in The Marmalade Lounge at No.1, our dainty sandwiches, savouries, scones and cakes are all made using fine British ingredients. And a glass of English Chapel Down goes just as well as a pot of tea.

Canine friends - welcome! 🐾We`re not just dog-friendly, we`re dog-loving people at GuestHouse. They`ll be spoilt just as much for their very own special stay. We have bespoke @ivyandduke beds and pillows ready in room at check-in, along with a toy and treats 💛
There are a few things to note when booking your stay if you`re thinking of bringing your pup. Not all our rooms are suitable (safety plus tail-wagging space!) and there are a few good-to-knows too. You`ll be able to find all the details for each hotel on our website but you can always give us a call too 📞

Behind the main buildings, you’ll find our castle-esque Coach House. There are Guest Rooms and Large Guest Rooms across two floors, some facing the main building, others facing Henrietta Park and it has its own pantry too.
