Come early and you'll catch the winter sunsets over the water - they really are something. Our seasonal menu does the rest: the kind of food that makes you want to linger long after the plates are cleared.
We're also running our Steak Night offer on Thursday evenings throughout the festive period, if you need another reason to book. Tables from 2 to 20 - just pull up a chair, watch the fairy lights sparkle and let us take care of the rest.

Our 2 and 3-night Christmas packages are made for those who want the whole festive picture - without the stress.
Arrive on Christmas Eve to board games and mulled wine, then a feast at Pearly Cow. Christmas Day brings Buck's Fizz at breakfast, canapés, something sparkling, and a five-course lunch with all the trimmings.
The 3-night package adds Boxing Day dining, giving you an extra unhurried day to wander the coast, watch the waves, and breathe it all in. Margate in winter is rather wonderful - and there's no better place to spend it than at ours.
New Year's Eve at No. 42 is a proper send-off for the year, and there's no better place to watch the final sunset of 2026 than right here on the coast.
We have two ways to celebrate at ours: an early evening five-course feast at Pearly Cow for those who like to ring in the New Year at their own pace, and a later celebration with a welcome drink, five-course dinner, live entertainment and a midnight toast to see 2027 in properly.
Both can be enjoyed as a standalone evening or paired with a stay.
