Our GuestHouse in York is a show-stopping-stunner, a short 10 minute stroll from York station and within sight of the Minster. Captivatingly designed, it's a unique way to experience the Harry-Potter-esque charm of York.
No.1 is the impressive roof under which sits 38 gorgeous rooms and suites. We're home to the Northern-most outpost of 'Pearly Cow', our fabulous fire & ice concept restaurant and event spaces, along with the Rhubarb Bar and Marmalade Lounge. Further down still, you'll find the quiet retreat of our Spa at No.1, with soothing treatment rooms. Come on in...

We have five different types of rooms for you to choose from, going from cosy to lofty. Many have fireplaces, lots have leafy views and the two Bootham Suites occupy what used to be a grand drawing room and a luxurious library.
In all of them, you’ll find locally sourced antiques, art and curios that tell York’s stories in the most charming of ways. And just a little down the hall from all of them, you’ll find a Pantry full of complimentary treats for the taking.
