Just a few doors down from the main hotel, our three Lookout Suites each have floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of Margate’s golden sands and crashing waves. Awash with a sun-drenched golden hue when the sun is shining and offering the most spectacular sunsets across the bay in the evening, you won’t want to be anywhere else.
As well as breathtaking views outside, the inside of our Lookout Suites really are something special too. Designed by our in-house design team, the golden sands of Margate’s coast drift in with the tide and into every aspect of the interiors. Each items has been chosen with intention and care to reflect our art-filled creative town and seaside location.
Taken individually, we think they're delightful for a romantic seaside escape, but equally are ideal to hire as a set of three adjacent suites for a group stay with family & friends, for a long weekend - or even longer still for a proper British seaside holiday!
Two of the Lookout Suites even interconnect- a 'Suite of all Suites' perfect for a family getaway for up to five. One of the Suites can accommodate a child (up to 12 years old) on an extra bed and all can take a cot. If your child is more of the furry variety, you'll be delighted to know your four legged friend is welcome in all three suites. We'll welcome your furry friend with a super-comfy Ivy & Duke bed, bowls and of course some dog friendly treats to get their stay off to a great start too.

In our Lookout Suites, like every room and suite at all of our hotels, you’ll get all the usuals, including a Crosley record player and a specially curated vinyl selection. The kingsize beds are dressed with a naturalmat mattress dressed in a Savoy luxury hotel topper and 300-thread-count Egyptian cotton linen. Plus of course there's everything you need to make tea & coffee too including fresh milk in your fridge.
Our GuestHouse pantries are loved up and down the country. Who doesn't want to step onto the landing to grab a bag of crisps, a cooling soft drink or some love hearts? So we got to thinking - how do we make our iconic pantry, that bit more special for our Lookout Suites...?
Personal pantries, of course. Now when you fancy a treat you needn't step outside your own door, you'll have your own pantry selection right in your suite!
We've pushed the boat out - into the bay! - with the bathrooms in our Lookout Suites at No. 42. Each suite enjoys an in-room rolltop tub to sink into, whilst you sip on your preferred tipple and soak away the stresses of the everyday.
The bathrooms are a tranquil and soul-cleansing space, dressed in nurturing neutrals and pastel pinks, and embellished with brushed-gold jewellery. And if that's not enough, there's the ultimate treat - a shower for two. Topped off with a gorgeous assortment of Wildsmith products, you'll be creating your own spa moment in no time.

If the beach right at your doorstep and opening the doors to a private balcony with front row sea views sounds like your beach dream come true, you’ll want to be making yourself comfortable in of these rooms. These rooms have a separate bath and shower and a super-king size bed. This is one for those who not only want a room with a view but want to be part of it.
