best Family Stays in Bath

Combine a genuinely family friendly hotel with a host of interesting and fun activities for the perfect break

Posted: 30.04.26

Family stays in Bath are always a good idea and at No. 15 Bath, we know how precious family time is.  Our three character-filled townhouses right in the heart of the city make the perfect base for a family getaway in the UNESCO city of Bath.

We’ve thought of all the little details for our youngest guests - from Yoto Players with story-filled cards in every room to a dedicated kids’ menu that keeps mealtimes easy and fuss-free. And when it’s time for a treat, our always-stocked and always-popular  help-yourself pantry is guaranteed to delight the whole family.

Our team relishes the opportunity to make our smallest guests right at home - cosy teepees with books and toys are added to our family rooms and a Polaroid camera is theirs to borrow, so even if they’re not quite old enough for a phone they can take their very own snaps to record their holiday.

We’ve got interconnecting rooms, or our Bigger or Large Guest Rooms can take an extra bed or cot.

Or if you’re a family of four opt for one of our Henrietta Suites or Coach House Large Guest Rooms which have a double sofa bed, just right for two children.

Family Stays in Bath

Bath blends history with engaging activities. To reach the centre you walk over Pulteney Bridge (one of the few bridges in the world with shops on both sides), which starts the excitement.

Kids will love exploring the Roman Baths, imagining life in ancient times, and dressing up in togas. The city’s compact, walkable centre makes sightseeing easy, with plenty of green spaces like Royal Victoria Park for picnics and play.

Interactive museums, boat trips on the River Avon and the chance to spot famous landmarks from a hop-on-hop-off bus keep everyone entertained.  Plus, the beautiful architecture and charming streets provide a picturesque backdrop for memorable family photos.

No. 15 is moments from walks along the canal and if you are a rugby family The Rec, home of Bath Rugby, is right opposite the hotel (remember to purchase your tickets before you arrive).

Bath is a city filled with fun activities, guaranteed to keep all ages entertained.
