ARRIVING BY TRAIN
With a regular service running between London and Edinburgh, taking a train ride is an easy and magical way to get here. We’re just a scenic 10-minute, River-Ouse-crossing jaunt from York train station.
STATION PICK UP
To enjoy the views on your walk without a care in the world, book a station pick up. We’ll meet you off your train, give you a map (and a brolly if it’s raining) and whisk your bags back to the hotel on our trusty bike.
ARRIVING BY CAR
We are found where Clifton and Bootham meet on the A19 – the main road into York from the north. It’s a beauty of a street lined with trees, gorgeous terraced townhouses and cobbled margins where the animals would have grazed on grass verges back in the day.
PARKING
We have 18 private parking spaces at the back of the hotel, priced at £25 per car, per night which must be booked prior to arrival. Please use the postcode Y030 7AA on a SatNav to be directed straight to our car park. There’s also a public car park just a 5 minutes’ walk away called Marygate Car Park.
