IN LOVE WITH BRIGHTON

Free spirited, eclectic and lively - there is always something going on in Brighton.

Our team is full of Brightonians and they always know what's hot (and what's not!) and the best things to experience during your stay.

Concerts by Candlelight

Experience enchanting Candlelight Concerts in the stunning surrounds of the Royal Pavilion. Highlights include Candlelight: Vivaldi’s Four Seasons (from 24 Jan, with dates through Feb/Mar) and Candlelight: Hans Zimmer’s Best Works (from 24 Jan, with multiple February and March dates too). There are also crowd-pleasing tribute nights including Fleetwood Mac (from 31 Jan), Queen (from 20 Feb), and Coldplay vs. Ed Sheeran (from 13 Feb), plus a special Valentine’s Day concert on 14 Feb. It’s an easy “treat yourself” experience for couples, friends and culture-lovers looking for something memorable.

Theatre Royal Brighton

Theatre Royal Brighton has entertained audiences for over 217 years with a mix of drama, music, comedy and family shows. This Grade II listed building is one of the oldest theatres in the UK and continues to delight. Crime and drama lovers can book Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift (3–7 Feb 2026) and the classic musical Blood Brothers (10–14 Feb 2026). March brings more unmissable theatre, including the crowd-pleasing musical Barnum (3–7 Mar 2026) and the noir thriller Double Indemnity (10–14 Mar 2026). There’s also plenty of variety for different tastes, from family shows to backstage tours.

Komedia Brighton

Komedia Brighton packs in stand-up, music, cabaret and club nights. With headline stand-up and touring favourites including James Phelan (20 Jan), Chloe Petts (1 Feb), Ria Lina (5 Feb), Tom Rosenthal (8 Feb) and Rob Auton (12 Mar). Families and daytime visitors are covered too with Sundae Club and Story Magic sessions, plus daytime Bring Your Own Baby Comedy events. And if you’re after late-night Brighton energy, expect club nights and specials such as Swiftogeddon (21 Feb), The Brighton Moon-Hop, and big, inclusive events like Chaps & Straps – Queer Line Dancing.

Brighton Dome

Brighton Dome’s early-2026 programme packs in big nights out and culture in the heart of the Royal Pavilion Estate, from comedy headliners like Al Murray (29 Jan) and Rob Beckett (4–6 Feb) to brilliant live performance across its iconic spaces. For something different, there’s the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour (3 Feb) plus sharp spoken-word programming for LGBTQ+ History Month, including STATUS FLO (2 Feb). If you want a behind-the-scenes experience, Brighton Dome Backstage Tours run through to 21 Feb 2026.

The Brighton Centre

Brighton is set for an exciting start to 2026 with a diverse lineup of major events at the Brighton Centre, including high-energy performances by Jason Derulo and Peter Andre in January. Music fans can also look forward to legendary acts like Suede, Gipsy Kings, and Echo & The Bunnymen, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere throughout the winter months. For those seeking entertainment beyond music, the city will host top-tier comedy from Mo Gilligan alongside a rich program of LGBTQ+ History Month events and cultural workshops. Whether you are visiting for world-class nightlife or a cozy winter culture break, Brighton offers a compelling mix of attractions that truly has something for everyone.

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton & Hove Albion, is based at the AMEX stadium on the north side of the city.  Visit on a matchday to watch the Albion take on the Premier League. On non-matchdays you can visit the superstore or explore the incredible story of the club’s journey, from the brink of extinction on a stadium tour.

Brighton Museum & Art Gallery

Discover Gender Stories (31 Jan–12 Apr 2026), a thought-provoking exhibition exploring gender across cultures and time. Running alongside it, The Sussex Lancers: Tailor-made Leather Lovers (31 Jan–12 Apr 2026) spotlights bold Brighton fashion history from the early 1960s. For a more behind-the-scenes visit, Curator at Work: Secrets & Stories from the Collections (20 Jan–21 Apr 2026) offers a chance to see the museum’s experts and their projects in action.

Brighton i360

Brighton i360 is a seafront observation tower next to the beach (and right opposite No. 124), best known for its glass viewing pod that lifts you up for panoramic views across Brighton, the South Downs and the coastline. It’s an easy “add-on” attraction for a day in the city because it’s right by the promenade and close to shops, cafés and the Lanes.

“Project Uncut” by Brighton i360

For a culture hit that’s easy to drop into an itinerary, Project Uncut is a free seafront exhibition running from 9 Feb–8 Mar 2026 – ideal for guests who want something thoughtful and very “Brighton” between brunch, the beach and the Lanes. It also ties neatly into wider LGBTQ+ History Month programming in the city.
