Brighton is a year-round destination, and there’s always something going on, even in the colder months. We're all about dog-friendly beach walks, Sunday roasts, shopping in The Lanes, exploring the Royal Pavilion gardens, seeing the city from the sky in the Brighton i360 and more.

No. 124 draws inspiration from the colourful, eccentric quirks that make up the city and sitting pretty right opposite Brighton's pebble beach and West Pier, is in the heart of it all. A nostalgic, bejewelled and soul-soothing escape, you'll find there's lots to explore at No. 124. As well as thirty two rooms and suites - some with sea views, all with Brighton-flair - Pearly Cow can be found here, along with The Bar, Courtyard, Games Room and more!

Brighton is brimming with independent shops and cafes and is also a hotspot for music, comedy and live acts. Head to Theatre Royal, Brighton Dome, Komedia or any of the more intimate venues for lesser-known, more exclusive events.

Margate is a real coastal gem and is very popular in the Summer. But the town is the place to be for your Autumnal break, for seaside serenity and quirky quiet. Bursting at the seams with artistic heritage (from Turner to Emin), Margate - if you haven't visited yet - may well enchant and inspire you too, as so many artists before. But it's not just about the art - you'll find independent shops, bustling bars, the wonders of Dreamland and of course, walks on the beach (yes, even in the Autumn, where the skies can be even more magnificent than in the Summer) are idyllic - and that's before you've stepped inside No. 42...

No. 42 is - if we do say so ourselves - stunning. Offering some real seaside soul-soothing and all things coastal calm, and just 90-minutes by train from St Pancras, No. 42 is the place to be to escape the hustle and bustle city and get away from it all for an Autumn retreat. As well as twenty one serene and stylish rooms and suites, all taking inspiration from Margates golden sands and the big blue outside, No. 42 also has a Pearly Cow restaurant with incredible sweeping sea views, as well as The Spa at No. 42 which is host to our popular Copper Cove Experience. The interiors are perfectly 'grammable - and we're right on the seafront, with sunset views right across the beach.

It's a known fact that Bath is the place to be in the Autumn. Well, every season really, but Bath in the auburn season is extra-special. The honey-hued streets come to life in the Autumn, decorated by golden leaves and orange skies and sunsets. And where better to get cosy in the chillier months?

Wrap up and get out there to explore the historic city, where you'll find the world-famous Roman Baths, definitely worth a trip on a colder day. Bath Abbey, Pulteney Bridge, The Royal Crescent and the Circus are all also must-sees and you'll also find there are plenty of places to stop along the way for a hot drink and a bite to eat.

No. 15 is located on the iconic Great Pulteney Street, so it really is in the heart of the historic city and you'll feel very much like a Lord or Lady Bridgerton here. Expect legendary spa treatments, uniquely designed rooms, and fabulous cocktails and eats in The Bar at No. 15. Less than 90-minutes by train from London, and on train routes up and down the nation, Bath is easy to reach - harder to leave though...

From the cobbled streets to the winky-wonky shops, York is always on the agenda and the gothic city really comes to life in Autumn. Just two short hours by train from London and well-connected to just about everywhere else, York is an easily-reachable historic gem, with real personality and twinkle in its eye!

York Minster is a real sight to behold and strolling along the City Walls is simply a must. You can also wander the famous Shambles and explore the quaint markets. There's lots to see and plenty-a-photo-opportunity in the Autumn. Near Halloween, the culture of the city comes to life. Known as one of the most haunted cities in Europe, you'll find many ghost tours taking place around the city and York Dungeons are ideal if you're staying with the kids.
