Mais c'est aussi grâce à notre passion pour le beau design et à notre goût éclectique pour l'art et les objets qui racontent des histoires et suscitent la joie. En bref, la créativité nous anime.

La plupart de nos petites chambres d'hôtes sont de charmantes chambres mansardées qui servaient autrefois de logements au personnel de maison. Celles situées au sommet des bâtiments principaux offrent une vue imprenable sur Great Pulteney Street et un vaste dédale de toits.

Chaque chambre est une toile au design éclectique, façonnée par sa vue, ses proportions et sa personnalité. Vous pourriez vous réveiller sous un papier peint à motifs d'oiseaux exotiques, inspiré par la pergola enchanteresse d'Henrietta Park, ou vous retrouver face à une œuvre d'art saisissante signée par un diplômé de la prestigieuse école d'art de Bath .

Comme son nom l'indique, nos chambres d'hôtes plus spacieuses le sont tout simplement. Chacune se distingue par son charme unique et ses objets de collection insolites. Dans l'une d'elles, un papier peint sérigraphié à la main par Tracy Kendall présente un inventaire détaillé de ce que l'on pourrait trouver dans une maison de style géorgien. Une lecture passionnante !

Nos grandes chambres offrent une perspective unique sur Bath et témoignent du souci du détail et de l'élégance qui caractérisent la décoration de Martin Hulbert Design. Les toiles de fond illustrées des lits king size ou super king size, les bordures en plâtre brut, le mobilier ultramoderne et les collections d'objets insolites créent un lien harmonieux entre passé et présent.

Derrière les bâtiments principaux se trouve notre remise à voitures. Construite une trentaine d'années après nos maisons de ville, elle témoigne de la liberté architecturale dont a bénéficié l'architecte, qui s'est affranchi des contraintes du classicisme géorgien. Le résultat est une folie architecturale, avec une façade crénelée et des fenêtres à quatre lobes qui lui confèrent une atmosphère résolument gothique.

28 à 30 m² environ | Chambre Super King | Idéal pour les familles
Ces chambres sont idéales pour les longs séjours, un véritable havre de paix au cœur de Bath. Elles comprennent un coin salon, un lit king-size ou deux lits jumeaux et une grande salle bathavec baignoire îlot et douche à effet pluie.

Leur élégance est saisissante. Mais le charme ne s'arrête pas là. Les détails raffinés de Martin Hulbert Design révèlent avec subtilité le patrimoine de nos bâtiments.

Meet @tessa__layzelle, the creative behind the hand-sewn tapestries in some of our newly refurbished Guest and Bigger Guest Rooms at No. 15 Bath.
Tessa is a designer/maker specialising in ‘practical paintings’ and her quilts sit in the crossover between artwork and homeware. For our in-room pieces, she nods to mysticism found throughout the city and the sense of the ethereal is further expressed through handmade celestial-themed bedside lampshades and delicate glass-domed pendants
