From city to sea, Eliza has proudly discovered the charm of each GuestHouse property, capturing it all along the way too. It all started with a Summer escape to Mediterranean-esque Margate with drinks on the Rooftop Bar, dinner at Pearly Cow Margate and a backdrop of glistening blue sea and golden sands. Fast forward to now where she’s ticked off a cosy girls’ night staycation at No. 15 Bath, celebrated a very special anniversary at No. 1 York and experienced the new addition to the collection - No. 124 Brighton. For her return to Bath, Eli has put together a 2 day itinerary for those escaping for 48 hours in Bath.

Day 1
Morning
1. Roman Baths
One of the city’s most renowned and well-preserved sites, step back in time and discover archaeological finds from pre-Roman and Roman Britain, explore the natural thermal springs and see the ruins of the Temple of Sulis Minerva.
2. Bath Abbey
England’s last great Medieval Church. Admire its stunning Gothic architecture, magnificent stained glass and climb the Abbey Tower for a breathtaking view of Bath.
Afternoon
3. North Parade
Famous for its charming shops, Georgian architecture and the lovely North Parade Bridge, take a scenic stroll before popping into Sally Lunn’s Historic Eating House (one of Bath’s oldest buildings!) for a traditional Sally Lunn bun.
4. Royal Crescent & The Circus
Head to the Royal Crescent, a sweeping crescent of 30 terraced houses. Located nearby is The Circus, a ring of townhouses with three entrances. These landmarks are essential to your 48 hours in Bath tour.
5. The Jane Austen Centre
Dedicated to the influential author who spent several years living in Bath, the museum offers fascinating insights into her time in the city and how it influenced her novels.
Evening
6. Pulteney Bridge & Weir
One of only four bridges in the world to have shops lined across the full length on both sides, Pulteney Bridge overlooks the River Avon and Pulteney Weir. This scene looks particularly beautiful at sunset.
7. The Bar at No. 15 Bath
End the evening in this cosy bar with small plates and delicious tipples! The chefs source the best seasonal ingredients and there are cocktails from traditional to reimagined. Trust me, there's something for everyone.
Day 2
Morning
1. The Spa at No.15 Bath
With 48 hours in Bath, you certainly have time for a little pampering! Whether you’re looking to leave with a glow or get rid of those aches and pains, the therapists here work absolute wonders. Consider booking a treatment for a truly relaxing experience in Bath.

Afternoon
2. Visit Prior Park Landscape Garden
A peaceful spot worth stepping outside the city centre for, explore the serene 18th-century gardens, admire the Palladian Bridge, and enjoy sweeping views over Bath from the elevated terraces.
4. Bath Skyline Walk
A 6-mile circular route providing panoramic city and countryside views, end your 48 hours in Bath with this peaceful walk that takes you through woodlands and meadows - the perfect opportunity to bask in Bath’s natural beauty. Tip: The Claverton Down section offers particularly great views. Be sure to stop and take some photo
Top tips
Getting around: Bath is very walkable, you can explore mostly on foot.
Timing: If you’re visiting during busy months, try to get an early start, especially for popular destinations.
